You then hold KOSMOS and click the line between the solid color layer and the light shaft layer; this may only apply the actual solid color to that coating.

The thing to remember is all the sunshine layers must be going in precisely the same direction through the windows. They will stack up nicely on their own to create a nice effect. We grouped mine so that I might adjust the opacity from the whole group.
