Bumblebee Transformer Cake

27

Buddy Valastro of “Cake Boss” fame has created this massive two thousand pound cake to promote the new Transformers film. The cake depicts Bumblebee straddling a Chevrolet Camaro.

Bumblebee appears in live-action films as a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, an upgrade from his Generation 1 design based on a Volkswagen Beetle.

Cake

Fans of the Transformers movies will surely appreciate this magnificent cake featuring Bumblebee from his toys, with a black and yellow ganache background and intricate details created by Buddy Valastro and his team, who worked all day to sculpt flour and sugar into Bumblebee – perfect for celebrating birthday parties themed around his movies or showing off baking skills! This incredible masterpiece makes an eye-catching centerpiece.

Start with a 10-inch round cake and spread a layer of yellow frosting, tinted Bumblebee yellow, onto it. Create another batch tinted in Bumblebee yellow color to spread over all parts of the cake; leave some extra at the base so the toy sits better on it. When dry, cut window templates from wax paper and spray with blue Duff food spray paint before adhering them to the car with extra frosting as glue. Finally, add small circles or your Transformer emblem.

Frosting

Bumblebee was among a group of Autobots sent back through time via a glitch in Teletran-3 space bridge computer, including Optimus Prime and Hot Rod, who all transformed small economy cars reminiscent of 1970s AMC Pacers before rejoining their friends on present-day Cybertron.

Chuck portrays him in the Angry Birds Transformers video game series and appears in four distinct variations: yellow with black stripes reminiscent of his Pre-Age of Extinction look; another version with blue highlights to represent Energon; and finally, one red with yellow face paint and featuring Energon highlights. Frank Welker voices him on TV series, while Jeremy Levy handles voiceovers for Rescue Bots Academy.

As soon as your cakes have been baked and cooled, whip up a batch of yellow frosting and spread it across them all. Place this into the refrigerator to harden further before cutting some window templates out of wax paper to hold up against them while spraying blue food spray paint onto them and hand painting on black stripes with watered-down black gel food coloring. Cut four medium circles and six small ones along with your Transformer Autobot emblem from wax paper before sticking them on using frosting glue!

Decorations

Transformers cakes can make for a fun way to mark a child’s birthday celebration or showcase your cake-decorating abilities. Custom Transformers cakes can feature battle scenes between Autobots and Decepticons or feature their iconic symbol or logo, guaranteed to impress guests and provide an entertaining party theme!

Bumblebee was an essential character in the Transformers franchise and one of the first characters to return from Cybertron after having been sent back through time. Reformed into an economy car form, he made numerous appearances alongside fellow Autobots such as Optimus Prime and Cheetor in many scenes from both series.

If you want to create a Bumblebee transformer cake, start by baking a two-layer cake mix according to its package or recipe instructions. When cool, level off the top surface and apply a crumb coat of buttercream. Once this sets, position an edible image atop your cake before framing it with gold dragees or sprinkles around its edge for added dimension.

For windows, use wax paper templates cut out of window shapes as templates to line the sides of your cake. Use blue food spray paint to get the desired shade, and hand paint the details using watered-down black gel food coloring. Allow your cake to set for at least an hour before refrigerating it for service.

Mask

Bumblebee is an Autobot with yellow and green hues that transforms into either a Volkswagen Beetle or Chevrolet Camaro when activated, featuring in both live-action film series as one of its main protagonists, animated television series, and comic books – as well as being voiced by Will Friedle (live-action films) or Jeremy Levy (animated series). His popularity among Transformer fans is second only to Megatron himself in America, with over thirty products bearing his likeness in his merchandise line.

Bumblebee, part of Rodimus Prime’s crew that left Cybertron 8,000 years ago and created their new home world on Omnitron, is one of the Autobots that trust him with their most vital missions despite his young age. Bumblebee often volunteers his help to humanity in need; throughout the series, he often collaborates with Sparkplug Witwicky, a human friend with whom he has become very close.

After their Ark crashed to Earth, Bumblebee and his fellow Autobots were trapped for 4 million years before awakening to discover that the world had significantly changed since they last saw each other. Bumblebee responded to this transformation by becoming more playful and less serious; his disposition, in comparison with more serious and determined personalities like Optimus Prime, became starker still.

As part of the Autobots’ battle against the Decepticons on Earth, Bumblebee collaborates with Ratchet in searching an abandoned Decepticon base while engaging Chompazoid Underbite and Skywarp – including their traitorous leader Skywarp who uses an invisibility cloak teleportation system – during battle. When Bumblebee defeats him despite its use, he saves humans even while commenting that their losses would have been acceptable losses for his team.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is an action-adventure video game released worldwide in November 2016, developed and published by PlatinumGames & Hasbro, and players can select Bumblebee as their initial character. Bumblebee can transform from car, motorcycle, robot to any combination thereof while equipping various weapons & accessories – featuring both campaign mode & online multiplayer play! Critical reception was primarily positive, and it proved to be a commercial success!
